The first step is to obtain Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. With this plan you can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session, which will make the out-of-pocket fee $88.15 per session. Currently, you can receive this rebate for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year depending on your needs. No plan is needed if you wish so and are happy to pay full fee without the rebate.
Private Health Insurance Rebates that include psychological counselling as extras are also available. Rebates will defer depending on the health fund and the level of insurance cover. If you are unsure, you can contact your insurance provider for further information detailing your cover and rebates.
Your GP can send your referral through to Dr Dominika Ludvik Psychology via e-mail: drludvikpsychology@gmail.comor via Medical Objects to Provider Number 5661033F. You can also bring a hard copy of your referral with you when you will attend your first session. Your rebate cannot be processed without your referral and your Medicare card. Please note that bulk-billing is not available.
TELE-HEALTH SESSIONS
Fee for the telehealth sessions is consistent with the individual therapy and student/concessions fees.
LETTERS / REPORTS
The letters and reports fees are charged based on an hourly basis. The fees were selected based on APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees.
